[Susaka: In the Green]

The color swapped variant isn't bad but I prefer her original green version. Neat to see what became of the background I suggested too and I also like the magic serpent 👍

Ah shoot, I missed this project. (I'm not a forum lurker, but that may change in the future) I would have joined earlier. It sounded like a fun premise. I enjoy when people challenge themselves to get in my head (with some advice of course) and throw in a few effort-spices of interest that show they know me somewhat. Maybe in the future we can art trade or something.

[Mudman Vs Twice]

I've been a big MHA fan since like 2017, despite some of the hyper weird crap people throw on it today because people are eager to hate, but I have no idea how I missed this post (probably because I'm on NG a lot less than other places). I really like Mudman's civilian design and Twice is just an all around cool character. A lot of excellent designs in MHA and a few characters have even mildly inspired the looks of some of my own OCs. I actually have my own MHA art project I've been keeping under wraps myself- mainly because I don't do a lot of fanart, it is taking A LOT of time to complete and also because I can kind of sort of relate to the 'WIP backlog' you speak of.

Yea I have a super big extra large comic idea that is mainly centered around what can be boiled down to super-heroes so I keep a very close eye on MHA (tho I'd say the influences are JoJo, Kamen Rider and One Piece). I totally get keeping projects secret too, and despite really wanting to return to working on it I want to do a more self-contained comic as practice so I can really nail it when I return to it.

One of my other favorites! Ghidorah rocks and absolutely changed cinematic history alongside Big G.

[Space Godzilla - The Star]

NGL I actually really only like Space Gojira mainly for the design- the plot of the movie is subpar at best. However, to be truthful- I don't watch Godzilla movies for plot, I watch them for big monster action! :) Your Space Gojira looks different, but still cool. The crystal teeth are *chef's kiss*!

EXACTLY , i always have to specify with non-kaiju fans that Godzilla films have to be rated in their own category. and Thanks! I felt like besides the shoulders and tail there were a significant lack of crystals :p

[Gigan - The Chariot]

Gigan. My beloved. I cannot put into words of legible English language to properly express how much I like your style and the fact you made a kaiju tarot deck.
Also that my favorite arcana is the Chariot and Gigan is absolutely one of my favorite kaiju monsters ever (Ghidorah, Destroyah, Godzilla are a few others). I'm officially calling that you made this for me LMAO

I am a huge fan of ancient medieval manuscript paintings or old engraving & woodcut quality art. This gives me the same vibe. If that was what you were going for, you really nailed it.

That's exactly I was going for. His costume is model after early iterations of plague doctor outfits from either the 16th or 17th century. The sources from where I founds these references includes illustrations from that time period and photographs taken from the German museum of medical history in Ingolstadt. Another fun fact. I name him after Hieronymus bosch, a favorite artist of mine :)
