I might have a 'lone wolf' by nature in some areas but I'm not considered closed off so that the only people I try to work with go through a total background check- that's too exhausting and vexing. I have trust issues, have been hurt/betrayed too many times and dealt with too much toxicity that makes me the way I am for a reason (I seem to intimidate a lot of folks naturally, not even trying, just protecting myself and figuring out who I can trust first.) It was more confusing when this interaction started and then it led into frustration. I still have all the messages from current to last year and No length of silence or distance was going to make me forget or not keep up, you know?
