It's a personal tradition of mine to celebrate two kinds of new year annually - January 1st as well as the date of Asian Lunar Year (which in common tongue translates to 'Chinese New Year').
This is the new year of the Ox!
(Next year is the Tiger and that one is among the most important to me because a Tiger is apart of my signs :D )
Stampeding in, the Ox supports the idea of being more grounded and gives extra willpower to dish out honest hard work to become our own 'cleanup' crew for that garbage year we had last year! I think most people can agree it was the worst year of their life, maybe not everyone -but most. I definitely agree with it.
I only built that up to say 2020 is being BULLdozed and I'm grabbing this year by the horns.
There are so many bovine-related wordplays/puns out there it is almost shameful.
Here's some new celebration art to kick off this Lunar New Year. I really enjoyed making this one! The description maybe long enough to rival a Stephen King novel- but it's important to me! Rate me something really nice will you?
